Carina Garza De Luna handles serious personal injury and wrongful death cases on behalf of individuals that have been harmed by the negligence or wrongful acts or omissions of others. Carina has tried numerous cases to verdict, has taken hundreds of depositions, and has settled hundreds of cases on behalf of her clients.
Carina litigates cases throughout the state of Texas, primarily in the counties of Hidalgo, Cameron, Starr, Webb, and Nueces. She has been licensed to practice law in the state of Texas for over 15 years and is also licensed in federal court in the Southern District of Texas. Additionally, Carina serves as an alternate municipal judge and is a certified mediator.
Formerly, Carina worked as a civil defense attorney for some of the largest insurers in the country. As a defense attorney, Carina gained invaluable insight into the tactics that insurance companies use to evaluate and underpay claims. Carina’s extensive litigation experience, first-hand knowledge of the insurance industry, and compassion for her clients makes her an effective and zealous advocate, ensuring clients receive just compensation for their injuries and wrongdoers are held accountable for their actions.
Carina is from Mission, Texas. She is a proud graduate of The University of Texas School of Law. Prior to law school, Carina attended The University of Texas Pan American on a full tuition scholarship and earned a BBA in Finance.
Carina is passionate about helping others, which is one of the reasons she became a lawyer. She comes from a long line of public servants and adheres to the verse “to whom much is given, much will be required.” Carina is an autism and disability rights activist and believes in equality and inclusiveness for all. She has served on various civic and philanthropic boards and supports local charitable organizations that benefit the most vulnerable members of our community.
